Volunteers needed for new Domestic Abuse Panel in Norfolk

People with lived experience of domestic abuse are being invited to join a special panel to help select the right organisation(s) to provide support services to victims and survivors in the county. 

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk (OPCCN) is working with partners to commission a new countywide service to help victims and survivors of domestic abuse to cope and recover from what they have experienced.

A specification for the new five-year service has been developed, informed by feedback from those affected by domestic abuse. Organisations interested in delivering that service have had the opportunity to submit a proposal and the two highest scoring providers based on those proposals will now be assessed by a stakeholder panel. The OPCCN is looking for people with lived experience to join the panel and take part in the selection of a service provider for Norfolk. The providers will present their proposals to the panel and answer questions from its members.

You will then be contacted by Tabatha for an informal chat. The date of the panel event is still to be confirmed. Volunteers selected to join the panel will be supported by Tabatha throughout the process.
