Spotlight on: My Support Space, Live Chat and Supportline
We know that experiencing crime as a victim or witness doesn’t just happen 9-5, nor are the effects it can cause to our lives.
If you have been affected by crime and you need support, there are services available via Victim Support where you can get confidential in-the-moment support 24/7, seven days a week, with the option to refer in to our main service too. These are: Live Chat, Supportline and My Support Space.
Live Chat
Live Chat functions as an instant message service with a trained supporter, which you can access from you device any time of day or night.
Check out the video below for more info. You can find the link to the portal here: Live chat – Victim Support
Supportline
Alongside Live Chat, there is also Supportline, which functions as a telephone counterpart, where you can talk to a trained supporter at any time, 24/7, seven days a week.
You can find out more info on Supportline in the video below and also at the link here: Supportline – Victim Support
My Support Space
My Support Space is an online resource designed to help you manage the impact that crime has had on you, with a range of tools to help you cope and move forwards after crime. This is a free, safe, secure and confidential space where you can choose how you want to be supported after crime.
