Your feelings

How are you feeling?

If you have been affected by a crime, there is no right or wrong was to feel, and this is ok. Being a victim of a crime can be difficult, and everyone can be affected in different ways.  It may take some time to come to terms with what has happened.

You might not feel anything, or you might have a lot of feelings all at once.  Whatever you’re feeling is okay: we are here to help you, whenever you are ready.

Your feelings

You may feel:

  • Upset

  • Frightened

  • Sad

Your body might show signs that you’ve been affected:

  • Having nightmares
  • Changes in hunger
