The LINK Up: Connecting Young People with Opportunities and Support
Norfolk & Suffolk Victim Care (NSVC) is looking forward to attending The LINK Up at Chalkstone Community Centre on 3 August, where we will be joining local organisations, services and community groups for a day focused on bringing young people together.
The event promises a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, with opportunities for attendees to enjoy music, sports, wellbeing activities, food and the chance to meet new people. Designed as a space for young people to connect, learn and try something new, The LINK Up is a fantastic example of communities coming together to support positive opportunities and wellbeing.
NSVC will be hosting a stall throughout the day, giving attendees the opportunity to meet members of our team and learn more about the support available to victims of crime across Norfolk and Suffolk. We know that many people are unaware of the specialist help available to them following a crime, and community events such as this provide an important opportunity to raise awareness and answer questions in an informal and approachable setting.
As part of our involvement, we would also be delighted to deliver a short talk introducing Norfolk & Suffolk Victim Care and the range of free, confidential support services available. Whether someone has experienced crime recently or in the past, reported it to the police or not, our service is here to help people cope, recover and move forward.
Events like The LINK Up are invaluable for strengthening community connections and ensuring local people know where to turn when they need support. By working alongside partners and community organisations, we can reach more people, share information and help build safer, stronger communities.
